ππ€ Winter's End - Snowdrops ππ€
9th Feb 2026
We have been learning about St. Brigid, one of Ireland's patron saints. Her feast day, celebrated on February 1st, is often seen as the beginning of spring.
With this in mind, we have been looking for signs of spring. We listened to the story of the tiny Snowdrop, how the snow got it's colour, battles the winter weather through the night....and in the morning it is proud to be recognised as the very first flower of spring.
Seeing Snowdrops in the locality, is a welcome reminder that winter will soon be over, new beginnings and a promise of good things to come.
This inspired us to paint our very own Snowdrops ππ€
