A massive well done to the boys and girls of 5th & 6th class who took part in the O’Carolan College Blitz on Friday 15th May in Nobber. Our children welcomed the pupils from Ughtyneil with open arms onto their teams, as they didn’t have the numbers. ⚽️
Both the boys and girls teams made it to the final which is such a huge achievement.
While they were of course disappointed, our school couldn’t be prouder.
After both teams getting through to the final and giving it their all, they received the ‘Meitheal Award’. This was voted by all the schools and children present on the day. Pupils and teachers took into consideration the school that best demonstrated teamwork, respect, encouragement, inclusivity and sporting spirit throughout the day. 🏆
