Today we really enjoyed sorting, counting, repeating patterns and practising our data handling skills. Our friends from 5th & 6th Class buddied up with us to help with our learning. The investigation challenge asked if each box of Smarties held the same amount of sweets and the same colours. Pupils worked in groups, sorting by colour, counting and recording their findings on a block graph. Of course, the best part of the lesson was talking about the colours of the Smarties in each box before we practised sharing and......... ate the sweets 😋 We loved this Maths lesson!
